Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is located at the very southern tip of the Baja peninsula in Western Mexico. It is a place where it’s almost always sunny, with almost no rain, and low humidity. It is a tourist focused city and there are tons of great places to stay if you decide to visit. One of the best new hotels in the area is The Cape, A Thompson Hotel. When we visited in February 2016 it had only been open for about 7 months!
The Rooms
All rooms face the ocean, and the property itself is situated on a cliff that overlooks the set of Land’s End rock formations (including the famous “arch”) in the distance. At the end of the day, the sun sets right over the rocks and is definitely one of the best viewpoints in Cabo. So, whether you are at the pool, in your room, or at the restaurant, you will have an amazing view!
Restaurants in the hotel
The hotel has three places to eat, in addition to the poolside service for food and drinks. Their main restaurant is called Manta, located on the main floor just past the lobby bar. It has an award winning chef named Enrique Olvera. The restaurant itself is well designed and has a patio area as well. If you are staying in the restaurant you can just walk in without a reservation. The breakfast and casual dinner restaurant is called “The Ledge” located a floor below. The third spot is the rooftop bar, which is great for drinks and has a menu of appetizers that are awesome. Try the short rib taquitos when you’re up there!
Overall, this is a great place to stay in Cabo! I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family. If you are not staying at the hotel, it is worth visiting and heading up to the rooftop during sunset!

Not only do I need the massage, but also the sun, tequila, pool, beach, sunset, pretty much everything there, haha.
